Management
Management of robber flies is not necessary. Do not spray them or use any type of chemical to control their numbers. They are a natural part of the ecosystem and are needed for a healthy garden. They are most easily spotted when the sun is out and they are actively feeding. In the evenings, they retreat under plants and ground mulch and can occasionally be seen walking along the ground.
